My 1996 Antonio Picado Classical Guitar, details is displayed below

Top: Cedar
Body: Indian Rosewood
Fingerboard: Ebony
Machine Heads: Gold Plated

For the past 30 years, Antonio Picado has dedicated himself to the art of guitar making. His sensibility and dexterity have enabled him to create first-class instruments. He and his experienced craftsmen, who comprise Antonio Picado's workshop, devote themselves to building guitars with sounds of the highest quality.

Construction begins by letting the different sorts of world dry naturally for long periods: rosewood, spruce or cedar for the body of the instrument, ebony for their fingerboards. Antonio Picado personally selects these precious materials, which are then fashioned into guitars charaterized by beatiful sounds and elegant shapes.
When Antonio Picado arrived in Barcelona at the age of 19, he brought with him both uncommon dexterity and sensitivity. Two years later he built his first guitar, and thus began a caree of almost thirty years which has placed him among the most experienced professionals in the art of making guitars for both concert artists and students.

My Prudencio Saez Flamenco Guitar

I bought the guitar in my guitar shop that I visit regularly in Paris (La Guiteraria, around Rue Rome). Because it is meant to play Flamenco music, the sound are a little bit sharp and crispy compared to classical guitar, it is giving me other "nuance" of sound...it is pretty, trust me.

I use the guitar to play my flamenco repertoir or repertoir that needs many strummings (like for example, La Cumparsita).

A very good friend of mine, mas Untung Ashari, bought this guitar just before I left Balikpapan for Madrid. I am glad that that Prudencio Saez is in other good hand!

My Camps "Narrow Electro-Acoustic" Guitar, I bought in 2003 in Montpellier, France

Sejak lama saya ingin memainkan gitar elektro-akustik, tapi selalu ragu-ragu.

Pendek kata....I love this guitar!!

Short intro story on the guitar :
CAMPS Guitars are made in Porqueres, Spain. JUAN CAMPS COLL, its founder, has been making guitars since l945. His sons, JAVIER and JORDI, as well as their specialized lutist team have kept on making guitars according to the Spanish craftmanship

These methods are the result of a many-year-long investigation whose accuracy allowed a modern technology to be incorporated in both manufacture and wood treatment, thus it has enabled to reach an instrument with the best acoustic characteristics and qualities of the Spanish guitars.

Actually there is something in progress about the future of this guitar. I have made my mind before for Boy Esvano, but since several weeks ago it seems that my mind goes otherwise. However, once I am sure that I could get similar "magnifique" gutar in Madrid, we'll back in business.

My 1979 Yamaha Grand Concert GC03 and my little Yamaha GL1 Guitalele

Regular classical 19 frets. Yamaha says that it is all solid some kind of african rosewood or sapele. THe top is pine (not necesarily spruce). The fretboard was also described as ebony, but with the time, it is losing the blackness and looking more like rosewood. The wood is thick and the guitar looks beautiful.

Yamaha - Guitalele

I got the instrument in Toko Matahari, Balikpapan....it's fun to play it, especially when I want to play Musik Kroncong...the instrument fits to the music!!

My black Prince electric guitar
Well, not much I could talk about this guitar. It is a standard one that I bought because of my curiosity on the electric guitar playing, but that's all!
