Salam,

My Fender BG32 Acoustic Bass, mini Jumbo Body Shape, SpruceTop, Mahagony Body, Fishmann Classic 4 Preamp with PiezoPickup, Color nature satin. Acquired in Toulouse, May 2003.

Acoustic basses are becoming an essential part of many different musical styles, and the BG-32 is a great addition to any abss rig. With its mini-jumbo body shape, this bass sounds great and plays like a dream. The BG-32 also features Fishman Classic 4 electronics.

Well, I love playing music : classical guitar as my basic instrument and music, a little bit jazzy and rock (well, not a heavy metal one pls), or bass guitar music. You know, only running my fingers on the finger board for any notes, is sufficient to keep me survive at any condition! Especially when I got bad days in the job!!

PS:During our last trip to Montpellier, I was lucky to find a music store which has many books on bass guitar playing available including the books of Jaco Pastorious and John Patticutti, the bass giants), hope I could use it someday...possibly in Balikpapan, when I will go back??

My 1978 Yamaha CG110

A new instrument was just joined the club - My "Alhambra" LAUD!!

I bought this instrument when I made a trip to Zaragosa, Spain, end of 2003. Before I bought it, I have never seen and played this instrument. Because of the 12 steel strings, the sound is "something different" than others, and for me, it is so beautifully refreshing!

Iam now working on a little research on this intrument, I will post to the page when I am ready with the article!

ALFONSO SABORIDO Classical Guitar, recently acquired in Madrid, end of December 2003
After trying and playing many guitars where some of them were of the famous luthiers (Ramirez, Hauser, Contreras, Picado, etc), finally I decided to take Alfonso Saborida luthier to be part of the family. The reasons being economics (it was slighly cheaper that the big marks) and, the sound and the finishing quality at that price. Well, I could go on and on for the reasoning, but in short, this guitar promise me a happiness, that's all!
My FENDER MANDOLINE : a very nice "cadeau" given by my wife on my 2004 birthday, thanks a lot Arsi!
It was a little frustrated when I tried to play this small beautiful instruments, thanks to internet (where I got the basic explanations on How to play mandoline), I am fine now on my "friendship" with tis little guy!
